First Day of Kindergarten!!!!!!!

So, Lex started school today!!! And, yes, we cried. We couldn't help it! Our first born is going to school! He was just a baby. Where did the other 2 kids come from and when? Am I really 31? WHAT THE CRAP?!?!

Anyways, he was pretty nervous. He had a hard time eating breakfast, and then standing in line waiting seemed to also be very difficult. At least his very good friend, Brooklyn, was standing in line in front of him. But he went in without looking back, a very good sign considering some of the other kids were holding door jams while screaming and being pulled inside. My little darlings are growing so fast!

The Cabin - Our Escape!!

Here is the cabin!!!! We LOVE the cabin! A couple of weeks ago we had to escape Queen Creek. Cort had been gone for weeks, and we just needed something completely different. The cabin is the best place to go when you need to escape! The boys got masks and guns so they became super heroes. It was pretty funny. Lex even had to breath different.

There are three lakes near the cabin, so of course we had to go fishing. This was Lex's and Liam's first fishing trip. Of course, beginner's luck, they both caught fish - Lex even caught 2! I think their faces say it all. Liam caught his one fish and was done. Lex caught 2 crawdads with his fish and I thought he was going to run all the way back up the hill! They are a little creepy.

And Lily discovered food at the cabin. How a person couldn't to begin with is beyond me - we eat VERY well.
